Mayer at his Absolute Best!
"We've seen Columbus Stormers several times over the years and Lancaster was absolutely the best performance we've seen. He played his classics (although no Daughters which I still adore), the new stuff, plus some soulful covers. JM and hs entire band ROCKS! Seats were fantastic (although purchased late), he was on fire musically, and his gracious, passionate personality and good humor won us over--unlike MSG in NYC where it all seemed like just another tour stop. Special shoutout to Michael Franti and Spearhead too. They are a perfect opener to the Mayer show. Don't know if it was the more intimate nature of the Nationwide Arena or the Midwestern vibe but the show was legendary and JM fed off the adoring audience. Hope to see them headlining one of these days. The huge LCD screen is a bonus! Wish every performer used one."
